Stop Faking It!
The heart is deceitful above all things and beyond cure. Who can understand it? "I, the LORD, search the heart and examine the mind, to reward a man according to his conduct, according to what his deeds deserve...When his life is half gone, they will desert him, and in the end he will prove to be a fool. Jeremiah 17:9-11

Indeed there is no cure for a terminally sinful heart, but God offers a solution: He will remove it and replace it with a new heart.
"I will give them an undivided heart and put a new spirit in them; I will remove from them their heart of stone and give them a heart of flesh."(Ezek. 11:19)
God also has told us through Jeremiah 31:33 that "I will put my law in their minds and write it on their hearts. I will be their God and they will be my people." God not only has the power to remove sin, but transform us.
